The Flower Room is for our 3-5 year old age group, in this room the children’s routines becomes more ordered in preparation for when they move onto big school. In the Flower Room the day becomes structured as children carry out similarities of big school, these involve a self-registration table, registration time, activities to interest, stimulate, expand and explore. In the pre-school we work with your child to develop their interests. This will be achieved through purposeful play which will incorporate the Early Learning Goals for the Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum.
Your child will have an appointed Key Person, who will build a bond with your child and work closely with you to be actively involved in your child’s learning. This will also support to settle your child and to achieve their learning goals.
The staff ratio for this room is a maximum of one member of staff to eight children.
